ARGH. Haven't had internet at home because ADSL2 isn't available in my area, and I've been hunting down ISP's... And I don't want to use bloody Bigpond.
Anyway, not the point of my post. Finally read through Harry Potter and I need to talk about it with someone.
Packing all my shit up, and the amount of reading for this uni course just doubled.
At least I'm getting a hang of things at work, but I'm trying to figure out better acronyms for stuff. I want to create more sensical acronyms for things said at work, for phoenetic purposes. For example: FTP - Feed The Poor || IP - Instant Porridge || CMD - Cat Mouse Dog or Child Mum Dad
But they can use improvement, and I need other things. So here's a chance to flex your acronym skillz!

Errr, yeah. I haven't posted in a while. I feel like some perverted blog voyeur.
Life's been pretty stagnant, till now, so I'll post.
Anywho... Started uni online, Psych to transfer to Macquarie. At work, being trained to take cable calls as well as ADSL calls this week coming. Things are coming up Marc!
I 'got' three new albums. Linkin Park, Missy Higgins and Thirsty Merc; Linkin Park's not too bad, Missy Higgins kinda disappointed me, and I'm in the middle of sitting through Thirsty Merc... and I'm liking some so far.
I've finished the first season of Ugly Betty and I think I'm going to cry, and I'm pissing my pants waiting for the season finale of Heroes... while noticing loop holes on the side (like why didn't Peter pick up the hearing before... and stuff).
But anyway... went to the pub the other night because work had a tab... Which only covered beer and the house wine, which made for an ugly frothy concoction.... where porcelain met tile... or so I've read.
I'll see some of you when you get to Pacha's tomorrow.
And something to leave on a positive note. and if your connection sucks, your mama blows goats in hell...
It was a nightmare. My monitor broke down and I was abandoned with an operating computer without a monitor.
I guess it was a good thing though. I used to have an old CRT kinda monitor. It was chunky as, and took up half my table. Now I have an LCD screen, and I'm creaming myself over the space I now have on the table.
*cough*
Oh, shittiest thing. When I was driving the car the other night, there were these wheely bins knocked onto the road, and I swerved best as I could. But I guess I couldn't avoid them all together, and a nail got embedded in the tyre, and we were stuck with a flat... Wednesday morning at 1am.
And I became a man a changed a flat tyre. = p What an awkward rite of passage.
Work's getting much easier now. I even laugh at all the horribly computer illiterate people who really don't deserve to navigate even a watch.
I asked someone to put their mouse on the start button on the bottom left of their screen. He told me it wasn't working. It took me a good five minutes to realise that he was actually picking up his mouse, and placing it to the screen.
And another time I asked someone to click on the start button on the bottom left, the guy asked, "your left, or my left?". In fact, quite a few people ask if I'm able to see what's on their screen.
And now for something completely different...
FLASHBACK
I hope you all enjoyed your Australia Day.

Would you give up your life so that one, just one complete stranger would never feel sadness, pain or anger in their life ever again? (plus all your standard negative emotions)
A curiosity that knows no bounds... and the ability to make polls... Hypothetical issues have never had a work out... Until now...
Also, just a warning... I will be taking advantage of poll making, but the questions are very serious ones; ones that I have pondered, and they do affect me... so please answer honestly.
It's purely for scientific purposes... I swear! >_> Ok, maybe not. So what? It's not like curiosity ever killed a cat... right?
Oh, and I know this isn't an update, but oh well... As long as I keep my journal interactive with polls, everyone's happy... I hope...
But I will update sporadically... I promise... *puppy dog eyes*
Oh, one more thing. Does anyone know who took over QANTAS? I just wanna know if Australian money is staying in Australia... which I hope it is.
Wow, I actually wrote more than I thought I would... Anyway, I'll stop typing as I think.
Yes... Fin

I've been thinking about it, and a certain someone at a certain someone else's party inadvertently guilted me into posting back in here.
What's to say... Working as BigPond tech support... weird shift times, so next month I start my 8 hour shifts at 4pm, which means no public transport around my area that time, which means I have to learn to drive. *shudder*
Just something that would certainly amuse some people here.
Oh, and could you please amuse me for a random query in mind?

Philippines is hot. Malaysian airlines rocks with the whole personalised screen thing. Went to Baguio... I think. Saw bats, and shit. Went night swimming with alcohol. As in... drank alcohol. It's my lil cousin's 7th birthday today. Sept 11. And my other cousin's birthday is on Halloween. And I didn't get to write all that much because my cousin is right next to me and I had to keep loading Goddamn car games. Hopefully next time I can update properly. Gotta go.
It's so freakin hot here! I've smoked my weight in cigarettes and I'm gonna go shopping for cheap things! Adios!

Yay! Philippines, here I come. Now I'm actually looking forward to it.
Before I ever get on planes, I always have that Chantal Kreviazuk song in my head. "Leaving On A Jet Plane". I just keep getting paranoid that I'll be stopped at airport security. Either their sniffer dogs might smell residue illegal substances in my bag, or make me throw away the pins on my bag because they're weapons, or something completely ridiculous.
Mum insists I don't bring a toothbrush or toothpaste because it's cheap there... But it just doesn't feel right. So after 2 rushed hours, I'm packed and ready to go. It's a crying shame I can't bring Shirley, I'm gonna miss her so much, but at least when I come back, my mum's friend is gonna return my old acoustic. And, hopefully (fingers crossed), if I don't spend too much money over there, I'm gonna buy an electric guitar when I get back.
So I'll see y'all in a couple of weeks, unless I can find time and get to an internet café in the Phils.
Deep Vein Thrombosis, here I come!
Funky Feeling: energetic Funky Phonics: Thirsty Merc - In The Summertime
I never thought this day would come... but I have a myspace.
*dun dun duuuuun*
To think I held off the conforming for a year.
Anyway... Wow, I haven't updated in yonks. Nothing really to say though. Work. I have the next two weeks off! Whoo! Going back overseas for my aunt's wedding. Going to Boracai (postcard island). White sands, placid waters... Last time I went, the second story balcony we were on was directly on top of the water. Can't wait!
I got nearly $3000 back for my tax return, but most of it went to the ticket and passport. And I really wanted to buy an electric guitar. :(
For Father's Day, I decided to get my dad "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. If you haven't read it... DO SO ASAP or I will hunt you down and feed tacks up your arse until you do.
*cough*
I finally saw Team America the other night. Fucking hilarious!
"We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us fuck this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit!"
Anyway, that's all I can think of right now.
Wait, that's a lie. There is one more thing. I'm totally not looking forward to summer. The last three days have been too warm for my liking. And it felt like there weren't enough days this winter where you could just sleep in comfortably because it's cold around you, but snug under your doona.
GLOBAL WARMING!
Ok... Now I'm done.
